Comment by Ed Cross on February 1, 2012 at 1:17pm He uses anecdotes such as the ordering of a single mother to put a baby up for adoption... these NEED to be sourced. I cannot stress that enough. I honestly can't view this guy as anything but a sensationalist because of his blatant use of unsubstantiated anecdote. Am I really to believe he knows exactly what came out of Romney mouth in a privet hospital room a decade ago? Show me a signed letter, play a recording, ANYTHING but blindly state this as fact... don't fall into the same dishonest fallacious patterns as the religious.
My disdain for Romney is as much if not more then the other religious nutcases who want to legislate their faith. But attacking him by use of ALLEGED decade old statements will not do anything positive. This will only strengthen his supporters belief in the existence of "anti-mormons" and they will double down their resolve and effort on his behalf.
Comment by Ed Cross on February 1, 2012 at 1:22pm Don't get me wrong, he makes some good points... but damn if throwing uncited attack add sound bytes around makes me less then enthusiastic.
