This is a well put together video that lists many reasons why people leave TSCC. It's put together by John Dehlin, a still believing and temple recommend carrying member. This is a good video to share with your TBM family.

this treatise by John Dehlin is one of the most interesting things I have seen on this site. I think its good advice for people who want to stay in the LDS church in spite of its serious flaws. I doubt the hierarchy of the church would agree with him, it would be very unmormon. John however is in denial if he thinks there are "reasonable explanations" for the numerous flaws he discusses. Not all churches have these flaws. I go to the methodist church and they are pretty easy to get along with unless you are gay and want to be the preacher. I am surprised that he went over and did not deny the flaws. If the leaders took this stance there might be more of a future for them. I am an apostate and shunned by my bishop cousin as an outcast, he is a good example of a of a hypocrit(sp?). If Johns bishop hears this he is going to be called in for a talk. I have had a fantasy that I became the prophet and declared the BOM a work of fiction. wouldnt that cause a stir.
