This is an interesting account of a lady who died for a short time and had a neat experience. It's definitely worth watching and can show us that there is indeed an afterlife. Check it out and let me know what you think of it.

Near death experiences do not prove an afterlife, they only prove people had experiences where they think they saw an afterlife.

I still hope for an afterlife and enjoy hearing/reading NDE accounts.

I find NDE fascinating as well.  I just think people should be careful of making assertions that these experiences mean there is for sure an afterlife when they indeed have their flaws and scientific explanations of how they could happen without there actually being an afterlife.

I don't know. I agree that people should be careful, and that some NDE's may not be legitimate, but I do think that there are a lot of truthful accounts. These people are clinically dead. A lot of them leave their bodies and watch doctors and nurses working on their bodies and sometimes even listen to what the Doctors or nurses are communicating and then when the soul or spirit enters back into the body and the person is resuscitated they recount to family or the doctors what they heard them saying. Which goes to show if anything that we do have a soul as well as a body which in my mind is evidence that there has to be an afterlife.

Here is my take on the clinically dead part.  If they were dead they would have no conscience so couldn't think or remember anything during that time, but when they woke up, the last thing that they remembered would seem like it just happened.  So it is possible they could have had a near death experience where they over-heard others talking about them and then when they woke up after they died it would seem as if it just happened.

I don't see this really being any evidence of life after death because they have yet to provide any real experiences to prove they were actually out of their body.  They tried things like putting images or pictures that could only be seen from the ceiling in hospital rooms with those in critical condition and have yet to get anyone to confirm it.

The thing about NDEs is that we can't get into someone's mind or body to examine them so we have no way of knowing for sure how or what causes them, and if they are real.

I came across an account where a lady dies in the hospital and her soul or spirit leaves her body and floats to the ceiling of her room and then she floats up through the roof of the hospital and then eventually goes through the other things that typically happen in a NDE. But the interesting thing about this account was that as she floated over the hospital roof she remembered seeing a shoe on the roof. When she was resuscitated she told her sister or a family member about her experience and about seeing a shoe on the roof of the hospital. After she recovered she got permission to go on the roof with someone to see if there really was a shoe on the roof and sure enough there was a single shoe on the rooftop. I'll try and find this video and then if I can find it, I'll post it.

It's believed that millions of people have had NDE's, and most of these NDE's have consistencies. Most of the accounts all have similarities and I believe that a lot of them hold truth. It's one thing if all the accounts were polar opposites, but the fact that there are so many consistencies makes me think that these aren't just some bogus dream or illusion or that these people are delusional.
A lot of people who have experienced a NDE are transformed. They change their careers to jobs that allow them to work with people and serve people and to counsel people. They live a life of serving others. They all come back with greater desires to serve God and to draw closer to him. Atheist become Christian. Some even say that while their in this heavenly realm that it's more realistic or natural than it is while their in this life.

Okay here's the link to the lady that died and saw the shoe on the roof of the hospital. I didn't have all the details correct in the above comment, but anyways if you want to check it out, here's the link. At about 7 minutes and ten seconds in, they start talking about this lady's account.

I have had numerous supernatural and have had people also see and experience the same thing at the same time. I also do paranormal investigating. I look for different reasons for paranormal events sometimes I find non paranormal answers. Just recently I did a ghost box session at the Washoe Club in Virginia City, NV. I asked what is the name of the place we are at... I got a response in a female's voice saying "Washoe Club" and have this recorded. The US and USSR during the cold war used remote viewing as a way of spying on each other.
