Wow, that was touching.  You are so right about being accepted and loved for who you are by nonmormons.  It's something I've noticed and I resent VERY MUCH. People who are "different" (people with visible disabilities, single moms--that's me, people who aren't fish belly white, etc., etc.) usually don't ever fit in with the mormon crowd...members are just too uncomfortable with us.  You're right, people outside of the church are far more Christlike than those who claim to be trying the hardest to be like him.  It's sick and hurtful and wrong.  Bravo to you for standing up and sharing your feelings.
