They got me! Guess I'm going back to church...but seriously, these 12 "signs" are so easy to rebut:

#1 - Only works if you believe the bible and that Jesus was actually setting up a church

#2 - Uhm, no they can't. They can trace it back to Joseph Smith who claimed to have received this authority of which the record in the D&C wasn't even written or published until years after the the supposed event, when others were calling Joseph's authority into question

#3 - What revelations? No new revelations have been published as such in nearly a century, not to mention all of the recorded revelations that never came to pass

#4 - Again, only matters if you believe the bible and interpret it the same way Mormon's do

#5 - He's alive? How come none of the apostles have seen him? Why does his so called church build billion dollar malls instead of putting all of their surplus resources into alleviating hunger and the poor?

#6 - The law of tithing??? Talk about self serving and corporate mutli-level-marketing, not to mention the inequality of flat taxes and that tithing used to be 10% of your excess and not 10% of your gross/net income (early church history)

#7 - Gotta believe in that bible again, and then also interpret the BoM as that other scripture, which doesn't work out so well when you consider the lack DNA evidence, archaeological evidence and plagiarisms from the King James version of the bible and other works

#8 - Actually, I think this quote explains the need to proselytize much better:
"The proselytizing fanatic strengthens his own faith by converting others. The creed whose legitimacy is most easily challenged is likely to develop the strongest proselytizing impulse. It is also plausible that those movements with the greatest inner contradiction between profession and practice--that is to say with a strong feeling of guilt--are likely to be the most fervent in imposing their faith on others."
-- Eric Hoffer

#9 - You get what you pay for - crappy counseling, recommendations, unqualified and un-knowledgeable leaders who have covered up abuse, incest, rape, and generally been guided and concerned with maintaining a public image more than genuine concern for individuals

#10 - Again, not really useful if you don't believe in the bible, BoM or that baptizing 8 year old are actually mature enough to know exactly what they are doing or what the alternatives are

#11 - How exactly is this a sign? Who made up this bull crap list anyways?

#12 - Ok, the LDS church may have "answers" to those 3 questions, but how is that a sign, and what makes their answers more valid than other answers? I can sell you beach front property in Arizona, but that doesn't mean it comes with a view. Answers are a dime a dozen. The more emotionally driven they are, the more likely they are attempting to win you over through happy thoughts rather than with real evidence and honest searching

Good luck with that.
