She really is a nice lady, I tell myself that every time she call, drops by, or sends a note.
Really, her heart is in the right place.
She is just doing her job, after all her heart tells her that god will hold her accountable for not trying to get my ass in a pew every Sunday.
From her standpoint I am a poor dammed apostate, destined to spend eternity in the company of Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, and those dirty Pagans.
I tried to tell her politely that I was not interested, maybe she couldn't hear me over the sounds of MoTab singing hymns in her own mind.
I should be more grateful for her concern, after all she is neglecting her own family to do the lords work.
I don't want to play dirty, I don't want to hurt her feelings, maybe I should just get one of these shirts...

I just got a call yesterday inviting me to the ward Christmas party. We officially resigned and hadn't heard from the ward for over a year so I was surprised to get that call. All I could do is say, "thank you" and hang up. Good luck with your RS Pres, I want one of those shirts too!

I love it! Where can I get one? Actually, I haven't heard from anyone in my new "ward" since I moved here. Maybe the messsage has finally sunk in? Or maybe my mother hasn't called anyone yet. lol

I love this GREAT T-shirt!!! Although, I am not quite ready to officially be "out"! Gee, I am starting to understand how my poor gay child felt! Wow, my palms are sweaty!

Actually, I am ready- but it wouldn't be good for another family member at this time. BTW, Micah, you are most "inspired" about Rock and his blog. Although, he does really believe in some things- and truthfully, even though I believe the BOM to be fiction, I still feel that there is some great advice and truths to be garnered.

I pretty much have the same experience as Cali does. My mother is pretty accepting of my path in life, though- I am lucky! lol I have a sweet visiting teacher, who brings me goodies and we don't talk about the church really. Home teacher, different story. I got so sick of him looking at his watch every 10-20 seconds- even when we were still "in", that I told DH, that he gets to have a friend and see HT by himself. It works out. HT is into conspiracy theories, loves Ron Paul AND is a Libertarian! So they get along great- perfect...for now!!!

Keep up the great work, Micah, et all! This is a wonderful site!!! THANK YOU!
