So, Nemelka is your prophet? Dude, I'm glad for you, if this is bringing you peace, and if you've come to the realization that you don't have to work your tail off in this life to feel good about yourself. It's nice to do good for others, but not under the threat of a heavenly kingdom. Personally, it's nice to be free of the notion of needing a prophet or seer to tell me something. It's nice to be good enough without all the trappings of JS. What do you think about polygamy in heaven, if you don't mind my asking.

It would be very easy for me to go head to head with you concerning bible scriptures that are universalist in nature, and negate the very reasons mormons give for the bom and continual self proclaimed prophets, but I don't think you are interested. I think your need for mormonism is much stronger than the need for freedom from self imposed and church imposed sin, and I can't bring myself to see a total picture of peace here. Because there's always more, when you get involved with mormons who think they need to declare all others abominations, and prove all others wrong, like, who has revealed what's in the hidden golden plates. Child's play. To me, it's not necessarily about right vs wrong, or being smarter than you. It's about pure, unconditional peace, for all, regardless of hidden writings, agendas, ceremonies, meeting attendances, etc.

If you base knowledge on feelings then it is not evedence of truth, If the judge was to ask a witnesshow they knew that the acused shot the banker and they said because they felt it ,it would not be considered evidence. I have been studing the text of the bible for the last 5 years at a liberal university. All the evedence point that 666 refers to the Roman Emperor Nero. Take some university coarses to learn what the texts refer to. NOT theology coarses but historicl, interpretation of the texts. If a man claims to see god or angles run the other way or you will be back in the same trap as Mormonism.

Julie I recognize this is a personal question.... have you given large sums of money to this effort? Do other people who love you know that you have or haven't given large sums of money to Christopher? I'm curious because when we give money... especially large sums of money to a particular cause, we can often become "converted" because our investment is huge... emotionally, psychologically and physically... I find that to look at something with a fuller view we have to move that "thing" from subject to object. When our beliefs become fused with us or our identity, they are subject to us and therefore we can't really "see" them... moving my beliefs from subject to object gives one capacity to have beliefs rather than be had by beliefs... so the final question... do you have your beliefs or do your beliefs have you? ;-)

David Norris? Translated the sealed portion of the book of mormon? I mean, how stupid do we appear? Four immortals who counsel and guide him? I'm sorry darlin', but you don't need this in your life. If you keep this up, some day, you will regret it. It's just a matter of time. I'd strongly suggest some anti-depressents to help you wean yourself off this nutcase.
