I recently did a radio show about being Ex-Mormon. My sister Julie was on The Real World and gave me some advice about being in the public eye. What really happened to her?

Hey Guys, here's my latest post. Gotta figure out what to do with the scriptures now that I'm not reading them!
I have been researching neural pathways and how they generate energy that our bodies feel as emotions. I began researching this because of the extreme emotional weight I was feeling in my personal life. In short; Our neural pathways develop through our experiences and they generate the energy that create our emotions. The most important thing we need to understand is our emotions in their design simply support your belief system no matter what it is and our neural pathways and…Continue
I have to good friends that are hook line and sinker into the LDS church and they were apart of watching me leave the church and get on with life, they use to use this fraise all the time to dismiss anything I was using to point out dysfunctions in the church. I hated that I didn’t have a profound response other than to just bitch more about the church and all the judgmental members. After thinking about this for a long time I finally realized something that made complete sense to me. We…Continue

The big conflict within a religion is this, Religions believe in reward through righteous living, meaning we are to sacrifice time talents ect. all in the name of our reward we will receive. Additionally they view life as a test!!! Yet in the temple they say “men and women (accept they leave out the woman) are that they might have joy, how can you live a life both ways? To me it is impossible. How about this “this life is the reward, it is what we make of it”.
The most recent post on my blog, I did a top 10 for the songs that've helped me the most since I've been out of the church!

I began researching this because of the extreme emotional weight I was feeling in my personal life. i have been on a mission, worked in the temple, and my uncle was a poligimist so i have a good understanding of extremes. This weight came from my continuing experiences and ever changing interpretation of what was required of me to be righteous enough to receive my reward.…Continue

On my FB I've been doing a 30 days of posting "thing." Today's questions was "what is the hardest thing you've ever had to experience?" I wasn't sure how I was going to answer the question...so I just started writing. And this is what happened .
Day 6: What is the hardest thing you've ever had to experience?
