Mormon stuff: left the church at 26 for ethical reasons (found out about the history stuff later); RM, MTC teacher, BYU alum; great great great grandparents joined the church in Denmark and immigrated to Utah, ending up eventually in Mexico in the Colonies.
Regular stuff: 39 y/o, gay, social science professor...Why is this starting to feel like a personal ad?
Interests and Hobbies:
hiking, running, rugby (only watching now, I'm too old), reading, movies, cooking for friends (not that great at it, but I love it), politics, etc. Looking to revisit my first love from before my mission, music (piano and guitar).
too many to list. literally 1000s. Better to list what I'm currently reading as of 3/09: Biography of Edward Carpenter, History of India, The Name of the Wind. None of these are "great books", just what I'm reading now.
Priest, Color Purple, Beautiful Thing, Ratatouille, Full Metal Jacket, Wings of Desire, Brokeback Mountain, Die Hard IV (so shoot me, I love a good hollywood action film), etc.
Favorite activity after mormonism?
same as before; see interests and hobbies above. I suppose I could add drinking good wine, smoking cigars, and having sex; but isn't that obvious, and also, so *normal* outside of Mormonism as to be too banal to mention.
