- My Story:
- Joined the church in 1982 via missionaries. Had a temple marriage and 4 children. My husband and I left in 2005 after serious issues with the cover-ups and lies we found. The marriage did not survive as the church was the only thing we had in common. It took a few years to sort out in my mind what was a mormon teaching vs a christian teaching. I feel badly burnt by my experiences, but free now to be who I know I am.
