In July of this year my wife and I left the church. We both come from long lines of generational mormons. We were both extremely active, and were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. I served a mission from 2005-2007 in Colorado Denver South Mission. These two links to my wife's open letter to loved ones, and my open letter to loved ones provide further details:
I am a full-time non-traditional student at Boise State University, set to graduate in May 2015. I am obtaining a Bachelor's degree in History with an Intellectual History emphasis and and a Bachelor's degree in English with a Literature emphasis. I am very interested in academic discourse especially regarding Philosophy and popular science.
Huckleberry Finn Candide The God Delusion Origin of Species The Illustrated Man. There are just too many to do any kind of justice to my tastes. If you are curious about any particular book, ask!
Star Wars On the Waterfront Growing Up in the Universe Cosmos. Again, there are too many to list.
Favorite activity after mormonism?
Having sex without garments.
If you went on an LDS mission, where and when did you go?

Welcome Tanner!!! Congrats on you both for escaping together. Enjoy the site and community, and invite the Mrs. too. You may find our chat room to be a fun addition to your social life after the church lol. I know Mormon friends tend to dry up and disappear. See you around.
