What is the veil in the temple in the Bible vs the veil in the Mormon temple?

What is meant by the veil of the temple in the Bible? Mormon veil in the temple? In the Mormon temple there is a veil that separates the people from the Celestial Kingdom. One is admitted through the veil after they present the handshakes, tokens, and phrases needed to enter into the presence of God. What does the Bible say the about the veil in the temple? I was reading Mark 15:38 which says, "And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom" and I wanted to know more…See More

My Story:
Ever since I went through the temple, some 26 years ago before my mission, I never understood why I need to know secret handshakes, sign, tokens, and phrases to cross the veil into heaven. I have been waiting for an answer for a long time and the Lord finally showed me. I was watching a documentary about the Knight Templars and their symbols and I decided to investigate. That lead me to Masonry and the fact that Joseph Smith was a Freemason. I learned about the symbolism in Masonry and realized it was all the LDS endowment. I found this to be disturbing because I did not sign up to be a Freemason nor do I desire to be one. From much studying about LDS church history, what is Masonry, and reading the Bible I learned the truth to my original question. In fact I have always known the truth it was just clouded by false teachings. I learned from John 3:16 and John 14:6 that Jesus is the way to heaven. I realized that anything that teaches other ways to heaven (handshakes, tokens, phrases) is NOT of God because it takes away from the Atonement and sacrifice of Jesus!!!!! At that moment these words came into my head: "I don't need to learn or know these Mason handshakes and symbols to get to heaven I just need Jesus." Upon learning this information my mind was made clear and I was shown other knowledge about the truthfulness of the LDS church. I learned about the Seer stone (a stone Smith found in the ground in a well-not of divine origin- that he used to translate the BOM with) and the discrepancies in the BOA are just to name a few subjects. My heart was truly broken and sad to know that everything I felt was true was no longer true. I don't understand why the leaders of the church keep up with this charade of lies and false teaches. They use Jesus and his truth for their own means and they have deceived me and other people. Satan is the father of lies. God wants us to know the truth. I implore that if anyone is seeking truth to read the Bible, study the LDS church history, read the apologetics that the church has given to explain why things don't match, and pray that God will show you the light.
If you went on an LDS mission, where and when did you go?

To The Prophet and Leaders of the LDS Church:

Please remove my name from church records for the following reasons:

1. For my sin of ignorance. Yes, the Bible teaches that ignorance is a sin. How am I guilty of this sin? As a Mormon I believed everything that…

There may be enough people here in south east Idaho for a meetup group. Even if only one time happens it could be fun to share ideas and experiences.
