"" I was talking about polygamy and explaining how the men had to do it, because so many men were lost in battle"
I just had a discussion with a mormon about polygamy last week. AFter telling her that Polygamy in the church disgusted me,…"
I left the church about a year and half ago, and am just trying to adjust to this new reality. Most of my family are still members, as well as my friends. It is tough juggling and valuing relationships when relgion is such a big deal here in Utah, and I have very diferent beliefs from those I associate with.

Favorite activity after mormonism?
I love being able to think for myself. Within the church, I always felt that I had to take information and somehow bend it into the idea that the church was always right. Sometimes, I felt that something was wrong with me because it never quite "clicked" with me, no matter how hard I tried. Now I realize, it's not me that is the problem, it is the church, and its changining philosophies.
