A group existed just for Atheists, and one can be both an agnostic and an atheist. However I thought it would be nice to have a group just for the Agnostics/Ignostics. Agnostic-atheists are free to join here too, as are deists, pandeists, etc.
Lost my religion, social group, parts of my family, my faith in the 'democratic/capitalist' system then, to top it all off, I lost my 'soulmate' husband - who it turns out was less of a soulmate and more of a dyed in the wool liar. . . if I wasn't such an idealist I'm pretty sure I'd have lost my faith in humanity by now. I'm interested in psychology/neurobiology, increasing human empathy and tackling the rise of narcissism/psychopathy in a bid to help society evolve and make everything a little less archaic *sighs*. Looking for people who need to be connected and are having a hard time finding a connection . . .you'll know what I mean if you're in that headspace/situation right now. I'm up for some mutual support, introspective sounding off and maybe some cheap laughs.
Interests and Hobbies:
Pretty much most things interest me - except sports. I don't drink or do nightclubs/pubs. . .I like to walk, read, watch movies, grow things, make stuff. I'm not exactly sociable, but would love to make a couple of close friends who are easy company, relaxed, moral, passionate, empathetic and socially unconstructed. . . I dream big ;)
The classics, Jane Eyre in particular, Jane Austin,Daphne DuMaurier, Bill Bryson.
Ghostbusters, Into the Wild, In America, I love period dramas (Cranford, Pride and Prejudice etc) and comedy series like 'Still Game'
Favorite activity after mormonism?
Letting my mind wonder without chastising myself for 'digging'
