Afew Blunders by Gordon B. Hinckley

Here are a few blunders or dishonest actions of Gordon B. Hinckley (died 2008). For those of you too young to remember, Gordon B. Hinckley was the Acting President of the Church during the senility of Spencer W. Kimball (1984-85), and the senility of Ezra Taft Benson (1985-1987). He was President of the church from, I think, 1989 (?) to his death in 2008. He was a media hound, and often appeared on TV shows in the U.S., Germany, England, Australia, etc.*In 1970 he refuses to excommunicate his…See More

Is Science Opposed to ALL Religions?

Mormonism is opposed to science. So is Evangelicalism (so-called "Evangelical Christianity"). The dinosaurs were not remnants of earlier destroyed planets, as Mormon "prophets" taught. The dinosaurs were not all killed in Noah's Flood, as Evangelicals believe. There was death long before Adam (Adapa of Sumeria). Plants and whales were NOT created before the Sun and stars, as Evangelicals believe (according to Genesis chapter one). Ex-Mormons often assume all religions are "anti-science" but…See More
