almostout said… Hi Cora, thank you for the comment. We do not have any children yet. But I struggle with idea of them being raised in the church. I see split faith families let the TBM partner take the kids to church with them. I don't know how I feel when I think of it as lying to my children when I know the truth. I can't imagine how I'll react when my child comes home and says I know the church is true!!!!! How scary that would be.

Especially when you talked about more & more & more never being enough, never hearing the spirit for sure, and never again surrendering any part of your ability to think and study freely about a thing and draw your own conclusions.
It's sad how your mother treated you, but heartening to hear of your optimism.
