My wife and I have recently gone through a divorce. Fortunately, not a marital divorce, but rather an ecclesiastical divorce. Not entirely painless, but a small price for freedom. Knowing that there…Continue

Hi Carl.  I 'm sorry to be so slow in responding.  I teach English at four local elementary schools.  Big surprise huh?  I live on Awaji Island.  My wife is Japanese and we have been here for about 15 years.  My Japanese is terrible though.  My children always make fun of me.   My wife helps out on her parents farm.  I help some too.

So when were you here?

Hi Carl,

I'm 60 minutes from Granite Bay. That's nothing for me though as I take me 7 year old daughter to gymnastics 3 days a week in Roseville and that's right next to Granite Bay.Saturdays are good as I usually do nothing that day. And Sunday I just go to church for 1 hour (can you believe it! 1 hour!!)  from 11:30-12:30.  We could meet in Roseville somewhere. Let me know. Michele

Carl, I am deeply sorry for not seeing this earlier! It would be great to meet! I would love to give you my personal info- but this gets to wait until you answer me. Are you still interested in meeting or connecting in some way?

Sunday as a day of REST!!! YOWSA! We are in agreement on this!

I don't know of any organized groups near Reno.  I would always be willing to meet up though.

Hi Carl,

I have only met one exmo in the area. We had dinner in Nov. but haven't done anything since then. I don't know of any groups in the area. I know they had one but had to stop because of lack of support. I would love to meet with you and your wife. My husband is very tbm and it makes things difficult. I can't say anything around him or he gets mad. And I have so much to say!!I think I could talk for a week straight without getting everything out there.  When did you leave the church? Here I many questions.  I really don't have any one to talk to and it's very frustrating. Let me know if you would like to get together with me. You and your wife (of course).  I'm about 30 minutes north of Sacramento.

You might try creating your own group for the Sacramento area and then friending and inviting those who live around there to the group and then you all can start planning your own get togethers.
