"What a beautiful letter. What a beautiful father. I hardly know what to say. Perhaps a few more thousands like him will actually change church doctrine at some point in the future. Unfortunately, the church now has too much anti-gay history spread…"
"Pretty impressive. No lecture, no disagreement, just listening and apologizing. An apology, for what the church has done to us gay guys, is a good start. Let's see if Jensen goes unpunished, if more apologies are forthcoming, if money is given…"
""When I did mention that I had been in Denmark for two and a half years as a Mormon Missionary, they were interested in the country and what it was like."
Well, that's reason enough for me to join right up.
No, I haven't…"
"Neat talk. These little bastards need more time in their bishop interviews.
And speaking of being a "semen connoisseur," I could tell you a lot about different tastes, loads, and so on, but this ain't that kinda forum.
"It is easy to be morally arrogant. I prefer a modified Christian ethic: Do unto others as they would have you do unto them. (Comment by Ronald Lloyd Lee on March 25, 2010 at 10:14am)
That's something that I think is purely logical. If I, as an…"
"I was born in the church. As adulthood went on, I realized that my gay feelings were never going to change. That only soured me to the church, but didn't cause me to leave it. I stopped going after a few more sexual encounters. But I was…"
"I honestly think it's high time that the corporate heads of the church had a "revelation" allowing family and friends, who promise to meet with a local church leader beforehand, to attend temple wedding ceremonies. I don't see…"
""individuals in the Mormon church values chastity, individuals in the gay community does not."
Sorry. That should read, "Individuals in the Mormon church value chastity, individuals in the gay community do not. Bad proofreading.…"
"Sam Harris's premise doesn't work. He accepted right at the beginning of his presentation that value is a fact. It is not. This is the problem with morality. Morality is based on value, and value changes as perceptions change. In fact,…"
I thought this article written by the late great Murray Rothbard was utterly fascinating, not only for the insight into the world of Ayn Rand, but the eerie similarities between the cult she established (out of one of the most un-cultish ideologies around) and the church. Every paragraph or so, I kept thinking "Just like Mormonism, just like Mormonism..." Hope you enjoy it.
I am currently feeling freer than ever before, so I write for an anarcho-libertarian website: strike-the-root dot com. I left Mormonism in my heart this last summer (2008) after finishing Fawn Brodie's "No Man Knows My History." The whole "gay identity" thing is new to me, but I miss talking to other gay guys like I did when I was at BYU (almost 10 years ago now... sheesh).
Interests and Hobbies:
Classical music, online writing, movies...
"No Man Knows My History" by Fawn Brodie (for liberating me), both "Hitler" volumes by Ian Kershaw, anything written by Alice Miller...
Elizabeth, Curse of the Golden Flower, Fargo, A Passage to India, The Color Purple, Empire of the Sun, The Lion in Winter, The Cheap Detective, Orlando, A Christmas Story, Airplane!, Fantasia 2000, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Star Wars trilogy (original, not the new crap), Her Majesty Mrs. Brown...

Uninhibited gay sex.
