I was born into a Mormon family. I was told that this was because I was an elect spirit and it was my reward for being so righteous in the preexistence. I used to feel that maybe somebody had got it wrong upstairs, because I never felt as if I was worthy of such a leg-up in this life. I was always a good girl.
