Akamar replied to Carlos's discussion Mormon Dress Code
"Why?  I mean, I agree that no one should deny themselves happiness because of the sake of a church... but at the same time, perhaps those women realize that raising a child without some kind of help might be impossible for them.   I'm…"

Akamar replied to ERIC's discussion Uh oh, the Mass Exodus has already begun...
"Yeah, I read that and my thought more or less went to "Well, THERE'S a way to get them to stick around. They can't even find a way to LIKE being there."   ... Might be a part of the problem, yknow?  It's not high…"

Akamar replied to lighthearted's discussion What does your Avatar and user name say about you?
"Actually, the one I have up is a commissioned piece I had someone on DA do for me. I don't think I HAVE posted any art on here.. shared a picture I was working on for someone in chat."

Akamar replied to lighthearted's discussion What does your Avatar and user name say about you?
"Akamar is after a character I created for a short story. It stuck, as it was often not taken for usernames on websites I'd sign up for. I have a strong dislike for having numbers in my nicks, and was getting a little weirded out about naming…"

Akamar replied to Dick's discussion Article
"What I think amuses me about that article was what seemed like general befuddlement on his part. He honestly couldn't seem to see why this might bother people, and seemed to think it should work fine if people just "lived within their…"

...And What If I'm Wrong?

"Why do I have to prove anything to any one? Why do I have to believe in a great sky daddy who frankly just makes me uncomfortable? If one wants to believe in him, fine. If he gives one joy, then enjoy. I'll continue to believe what I prefer and…"
