Life After Mormonism(LAM) was first established on October 22nd, 2008.  At that time, it was started under the name, Exmormon Online,  and also registered under that domain name.  The site name was shortly after changed to Life Beyond x-Mormonism and remained under that name until April 2010 when it was changed to the current name and acronym.

Life After Mormonism is the inception and creation of MikeUtah and has been one of his primary passions and efforts in life since leaving the LDS church in May of 2008.  Always open to enhancing and improving the community, LAM has evolved very organically as needed and continues to evolve today.
