So, yeah, I'm a French wine snob. Italian, too, but not so much as my love for the French. On Friday night I enjoyed a beautiful glass of Paul Jaboulet Cabernet Sauvignon. Soon, I'll be able to sip a Beaujolais Nouveau since they're coming out around Thanksgiving. Anyone else into a particular region of wine? Wine from a certain country? French lovers?

Yes, me too. Fortunately I can drive into France in just over an hour and stock up with a great selection. But our local Catalan wines from Penedes and Empordia are excellent, and much cheaper, so I'm quite spoilt for choice!

Enjoy your thanksgiving!
I don't know whether to cry or scream in jealousy from your response. You... lucky... dog. We'll enjoy Thanksgiving since turkeys r us in the country. I just wish I had some of your wine to go along with it. Enjoy yours as well.
We've found a delightful red wine from France that we keep returning to time after time when we want a single glass of wine in the evening.

It's Abel Clement Grenache 2008 or 2007. It goes with everything especially pasta dishes with sour dough breads.

Cost is $6 - $10 at different stores in Portland. Market of Choice currently has it for $6.
