I hear you J-Mac. I usually watch "Sunday Morning", but this morning it was mostly about religion. The main story was how the faithful are spreading the word in new ways with apps & such.
Gag me with a bible!! 
Turned it off with disgust.

I'm new to LAM. This was the only discussion group that seems interesting to me. But I don't want to misrepresent or mess up the chat on here. I don't think I'm totally atheistic. I recently read a couple of books by an atheist, and I can't even remember his name now but I was very impressed. Apparently there is much more to atheism than my formerly simplistic view of it. He wasn't about attacking theism, as I formerly imagined. He was all about anchoring morality in a foundation much more solid than mindless belief in mythology.
