Four months ago, I left Boise and came to the Portland area to work. I had been out of work for six months, so I did it even though it wasn't the ideal situation and my wife was staying in Boise.

Well, I've been offered (and have accepted) a job back in Boise, so next week I'll pack up and go home.

I feel lucky to have been adopted by the Portland NOM/FLAK/ExMo/PostMo community. I've loved the monthly get-togethers and other opportunities I've had to hang out with you great folks. I will really miss you all. Thanks for putting up with me.

Hopefully, I'll come back and visit some day.

Goodbye Mike -- it was great meeting you -- and happy for you that you can earn your bread back in Boise!

Well damn, I finally might have some time to go, and now I'll never meet you....
Awwwww, we will miss you!!!!!!!!! I am really happy for you to be back with your family though. Don't be a stranger!

Glad you're going back to your true home with family, but too bad things couldn't work out for you to make a permanent move with the wife to this wonderful state.
