Hello All, I was browsing this group today finally, and thought I'd share a little blog entry I wrote a while back.  I was waxing philosophical one day and using the skills I'd learned from GA's over…Continue

Here is my VTX 1800.  I keep it stripped down for around town but I've got all the goodies to load it down for an interstate road trip.  I love this bike.

Here's a vid of me riding my new bike to work ;) last summer when I lived in Southern Oregon

My last bike I had 12k of commuting miles before it was stolen :(.

BTW, you can create slideshows of you photos (like the one I posted earlier) by uploading your photos into albums (click Add Photos under the Pics & Flics menu) and then paste the embed code into the HTML mode of this comment box.  Fun picture Green Jello!

Those are some sweet Moab pics.  Where was the pic taken of the winding, steep dirt road?  That looks like a lot of fun!

This is a trip we took in Moab April 2009 when I still had my bike:

PS For the comment below I forgot to mention my wife Pattie, aka, biker chick. She's the best. Of the 32,000 miles on the FJR, we rode about 30,000 together. The other 2,000 was going to Laguna Seca with my boys. Pattie works for the school system and has July off and another month of assorted holidays throughout the year. I'm self employeed and take off what ever she has off. This make long trips possible. We're very lucky to have this kinda time and each other.    ; )-    Once again, a much rosier picture than the doom and gloom the bishop painted before I left the church and ex-wife.

This was at the top of Pikes Peak. A 2,800 mile trip over 10 days through Utah, Colorado, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana with two of my boys and their wives (Janae, Steven's wife is taking the picture). We took all the back highways possible to avoid the Interstate. So many beautiful sights to see like the cliff dwellings of Mesa Verde, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. Not to mention the breath taking scenery along the way and all the unexpected sights you come upon.  I'm so lucky to have an awesome relationship with my boys that are still active LDS. Certainly not the picture the bishop painted for me, of me losing my relationship with my boys and grandkids, if I left the church.
