Living with a "worthy priesthood" holder and TBM kids is tough. I haven't officially resigned. But I haven't believed for over 8 years. Looking for other women who can relate. Feels hopeless.

I found this article enlightening and in agreement of what we now experience and strive for in our marriage compared to when we were both TBM: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/02/weekinreview/02parkerpope.html?_r=1

I might suggest that the Chat room has been a helpful tool for others in venting and navigating their TBM relationships.

I came out of the closet about my atheism to my wife almost two years ago, after we'd been (temple) married only a year and a half. I wish I'd had a resource like this then! I made quite a few mistakes that made things harder than they needed to be, I think. We've worked through a lot, though, and are doing pretty well considering she's still pretty true and blue.

After a long "discussion" with the wife last night, I opened my mail to find this new group.  Very much needed right now.

This is the type of group my wife and I were looking for a few years ago. I'm now exmo (name removed) and she hasn't been back to church since we moved last May. If I didn't know better I'd say she's catching up with me. Curious to see what others' experiences are.

Thank, Mikeutah.  I will look for SusyQ and other to follow, and enjoy getting to know the men as well, of course.

Hi and welcome Mending.  I know of another woman needing this support who I hope to direct here too.  Her alias is SusyQ.
