Pollypinks...

Kind of a moot point with me, and with us here in Indiana.  My children, and consequently grandchildren, have disowned me since I married a much younger woman and then, insult to injury, left the Church.  While I was still at home, my former wife and I were nudists, but not in front of the children.  We occasioned resorts.  My present wife (my ultimate wife) and I are thorough-going nudists...but, no, I would not offend anyone close to me in their presence.  My guess is that nudity would offend most of my former friends, family, relatives.  We are presently establishing a privacy barrier around our five acres...so that we don't arouse the neighbors. The tyranny of clothing is alive and well, thanks to the churches.  Indiana is pretty conservative.  But we do belong to several social nudity groups, and it's clothes off immediately as soon as we merge with those groups.  Also, we are nude and not-nude around our house, such as the mood strikes us---often a function of the weather.  We do have some neighbors that join us for nude recreation, but, interestingly, these engagements often raise sexual overtones...which we usually welcome, as wel, having dispensed with guilt and shame over sex (as well as nudity) long ago.  Nudity good, not bad.  Sex good, not bad.  Love good, not bad.

Brian, Are you nude in front of your children, grandchildren etc.?  If some of them were to come to you and ask you to not be nude around them would it offend you?  I completely at ease sans underwear, but not much of a nudist.

I take issue with that form of Christianity.  Christ never stated anything of the sort.  It's like groups saying someone died of cancer because they didn't have enough faith.  Who are we, as humans, to determine who has faith and who doesn't?  I hear of some congregations actually turning away from sick people because they apparently haven't had enough faith.  That's a works based isssue.  If you do something good enough, then good enough will happen to you.  If you don't, tough shit.  Humans aren't Christ.

So, If I become a name it and claim it Christian everything that I name will come to pass.  Right?  Joel Osteen all the way.

It's not the fear of the wild per say, as it is the fear of human sewage in our rivers.

Oh, I'm one of the "oldies" here who remembers getting an enema just prior to childbirth.  Pre-epidural days, sitting on the can, hanging onto the sink for dear life!

I figure those 'things' will find their way in with or without a bathing suit. But yes I do feel more vulnerable than my male companion when swimming. Enema anyone?

I'm wondering if any other females here have "issues" with swimming in lakes, rivers, or oceans nude because of the design of our genitalia, or is it just me that doesn't like some "things" entering my body.
