I'm in Perth. Check out Australian Mormon stories Facebook group. They just had a meet up in Canberra I think last Saturday, at Simon southertons place.
Perth is to far away but there are a few exmo's here that have got together before. It's nice to be able to talk about its with fellow Aussies.
When I first realised I'd been duped, I thought perhaps I was the only one in Australia to know lol

Hi Wokie! I don't think you'll get much action here lol. I think I've seen your name around, maybe on rfm?
There's an Aussie exmo Facebook group that's pretty active if you are interested, plus, if you are on the east coast, they have regular meet ups

Welcome Cpt. Good move, You got out of the sinking ship that is the Titanic Mormon Church. The Cpt Moroni statue will be the last thing to see, to go bellow the waters on the sinking ship

I wanted to join your group to show my support.  I'm stuck in Utah, but I served the mission in Sydney 91-93.  Hopefully some of those I misled during that time have been able to make it out.

While I regret the mission, I don't regret being in Oz and getting to know you.  Cheers.

G'day Cpt, Welcome to the group.  I joined a few weeks ago.  I felt really angry when Pres Hinkley lied on '60 Minutes'.  Since then the internet has allowed me to find out heaps of things which have shocked me.  I have been out for about 20 years too.  I am now reading the New Testament after all those years of emphasis on mormon scriptures.  I am glad I left.

Hi There. I am new to this group. I want to converse with other Aussies who had converted to the church and had left. I was misguided and became disillusioned with all that hogwash they taught. I wasn't interested in learning about Joseph Smith or prophets who had claimed to had visions about the new revelations. It felt like I was given a lecture about superstitious nonsense and mystical rites. I wanted to know more about Jesus Christ and the Almighty God.  In a way I am happier now as a mature man who is much wiser and well informed about the Bible.
