Hello LAM-ers!

Starting this month, March 2011, we will be holding quarterly photo contests with the theme being based on the season being welcomed that month.  That makes March's contest about Spring.  The user elected photo/drawing/painting etc will be used in the header of LifeAfterMormonism for the duration of that season (replacing the sunset image).

Due to the header size of about 1000 px by 225 px, panoramic or landscaped oriented photos will accommodate to that size best.  The upper left portion should be intentionally left un-busy or clean so as to not make the logo difficult to read.

Upon submitting any photo, drawing, painting or other graphical presentation, you affirm that you are the sole owner and copyright holder for your entry and that you give your consent for its use by LifeAfterMormonism.net.  Entries may be submitted by either attaching them to your reply on this thread ("Upload Files" below the Reply box) or by email them to lifeaftermormonism@live.com.

All submission are due by midnight MST, on March 18th so that voting may proceed from the 19th to the 21st of March.

Your comments, questions, or suggestions are welcome.

Poetry for Spring

In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of transvetites.
LOL, very interesting...
I think this is the Spring Photo Contest. Read up above. Me and my wife Pattie were in New Orleans and I couldn't resist a picture with this gal, guy, well you get the picture. My life long dream fulfilled, a manaja twa. Just one more reason why it rocks to be an ex-mormon.   ; )
I think I detect jealousy rearing it's ugly head.   ; )
I didn't realize I was bragging about anything. Just having fun in New Orleans. Sorry if I offended you.
I didn't see a problem with it.
That's not how I interpreted the photo.

To: ugly

I was taking a picture of this guy  and he told me to come over closer for a better picture. Me and my wife went over for a better picture and I was getting a picture of him and my wife together when he said, "I want a picture with you", pointing at me. So I gave the camera to a passer-by and they took the picture. HE chose to have a picture taken with me and HE chose to hike his leg up and put his arm around me. Maybe he was exploiting me!? He told us about a cool bar off the beaten path that was a favorite of the locals and we had a great time that evening. We saw him a second time  that evening after dinner and I gave him $5 because he was cool and one of the few people that didn't try to hussle us for a buck. I'm not sure how often you pass judgement on others inaccurately, but I would guess it's taken a heavy toll on relationships in your life. I sincerely wish you the best of luck.

This should be the header...
'Ugly', again you are proving to have difficulties refraining from defaming other users.  Perhaps you'll get farther by sticking to the saying, "if you don't have nothing nice to say, don't say anything" etc.
Those are awesome Mark!
