I can now listen to radical music without the guilt!!

I guess if I've ever had a vice or secret "sin" it was loving radical music with suggestive lyrics. But I tried to keep it hidden from other lds members.

Now I can AND DO listen to music with explicit lyrics!!  I love it.

My favorite right now are Pink (Cuz I Can) and most all songs by Lady Gaga. I love Lady Gaga and what she preaches--basically be who you're meant to be.

Has your taste in music changed since leaving the morg?

Not so much a change but a return to what I liked and listened to when I was in high school. I too love Lady Gaga, Pink, and add to them Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Muse and many other punk sounding rock, rap and R&B etc, most with explicit lyrics too. I prefer the unedited versions (non-radio etc) too. No guilt, and often music with great messages of freeing yourself from the dogmas of society and so forth.
I never allowed my attendance at/membership of the lds church affect the music I listened to.
