**raised in TBM home ... Dad was NEVER home .... Church first ....
** in the 20 yrs I was married ex was called as president of everything or in a bishopric for more than half that time ... 5 kids raised by me ..

Yes, you're not alone in feeling anger at the church for their constant demands. They ought to be made known as "church first, families last".

Another fine demonstration of the mind games the LDS religion and culture play with its minions. Sad thing is, your ex was 'probably' doing church work some of the time, part of the time he was just avoiding the chore of raising kids. So hard to look back on a life that was lived trying to follow rules that were really to our demise as opposed to our benefit.
