It made me sad too. He is too exuberant about his situation for it to be sincere. Nobody, gay or straight, can be that happy, constantly. I'm straight, and can't imagine being fulfilled in a homosexual relationship. Not ever. But, he's doing it his way. I hope it works out for them, whether that means they both start living authentic lives, or whether they continue in the vein they're in.
