Hey what's up brothers and sisters?! We are, after all, brothers and sisters in the eyes of the Lord right? ;)
Something has been happening lately that you may or may not have sensed, felt, or heard about. We are shifting and evolving into what is called "The Golden Age." These days are set to be the best of our lives!!! This shift is taking place in our universal consciousness. This is happening Right Now. This is the point where our perspective is able to be rocked to the point of a shift in paradigm, one of oneness, love, GOD, and light. And if you're ready...Now is the time! This is the hour! Ours is the Magic! Ours is the power! There are few things that would be more powerful than a collective consciousness with a goal in mind. Let that goal be Peace. Let us demonstrate and teach by example instead of just preaching. Let us feel the loving calm from GOD and the angels and spirit guides which are assigned to each of us. Without exception, we truly are never alone in life. There is a Source so great, and so filled with the brightest gleaming light, which contains infinite knowledge and possibilities, wisdom and Truth; protection and guidance, karmic (fair) justice, the empowerment of each of us and the liberation of our spirit out of the muddled confusing programming we have endured mostly without our knowledge. Guess what? This Source is waiting for us to connect with our higher self!!! Let us start the initiation process(reuniting) of our souls. Let us release all the negatives and replace them with positives. Let us feel Peace Now. That is all it takes!!!
Thank you for reading
Feel free to add me as a friend!
Hi Gia! I have been reading up on this shift in consciousness . My number question is...what is my first step? What do I need to be doing? Any books you reccommend? Please explain this more because it seems amazing but hard to grip for a newbie:) Thanks!
Yes!!! You have already taken your first step by asking what is your first step!!! Where interest is present, the rest will follow. (this is a universal law, ask and you shall receive!) Two books I will refer to you.
I was exactly in your shoes just over a year ago! I think Gia is right in that once interest is created, following your truth will do the rest. That really what I think the whole "awakening" thing is about, discovering your true identity as a creative being, without need for outward "saviors", and also realizing our oneness with everything that exists; how our thoughts and actions affect everything we both perceive and interact with, like ripples in a pond. Find what your truth is, what holds meaning to you, and then live that truth and by example, others will feel comfortable to discover and live their own true selves.
For example, on facebook, my religion is listed thus: "My integrity is my religion. If I remain true to that, I will be false to no one"
I try to live as honestly and as straight forward as I can, without harshness. I try to speak and share my truths, values, beliefs, when the opportunity presents itself. If I have something that might help another, I try to share it (mostly thoughts/advice that has worked for me etc). Since we are all different, what works for one of us may not work for another. The more advice we can get in front of us, the better tools we have to navigate this reality etc.
So, hopefully you're not feeling overwhelmed. Just be patient and live each day, "in the Now", to the fullest. "The teacher will appear when the student is ready". Have fun. Be you. Live. Laugh. Love.
I have had a few short "bursts" of understanding the concept of living in the now...but it's hard to live that way all day everyday. I still get frustrated and overwhelmed with life. I have recently realised how negative I am and I hate that. I sooo badly want to think peaceful thoughts and just be happy. I am really trying to grasp this concept but for some reason it is very difficult for me...GIA...I actually own Eckhart's book. I read one chapter and stopped reading. I just didn't get it. I'm going to try again though...thanks for the encouragment!
One thing I've found that helps on a day to day basis is to look for and remember things you are grateful for. This helps take your mind of things you may not have or can't have in the moment. Like Sheryl Crow says, "It's not [about] having what you want, it's wanting what you've got" (from Soak Up The Sun). If you haven't read it already, read my forum post titled "Becoming your own source of happiness". Maybe it will have something to help too. Good luck! Check in often.
