Event Description

I believe it was two years ago that we started the traditional live chat review of LDS General Conference as it unfolded live from the lips of false profits.  Join LAM throughout the conference weekend to share in observance of bigoted geriatrics doing their darnedest to squeeze the oppressed LDS folks into submission as the attack of information grows ever more stronger and available.

Anyone see the BBC TV  ( UK programme on Mitt Romney.....) What an eye opener.

The Church says that unmarried mothers should give up their babis for adoption into mormon families...this was refuted in the programme. I have heard this in sacrament meeting and at a R/S meeting at the London Temple. Thing is...what about ancestry and who is the child to be sealed to.....the true parent  o0r adoptive?  crazy...

Thanks for the invite, however I rarely watched conference when I was an active TBM. You all have a greater stomach than I have!

The falsity of the Church-beginning with Joseph Smith's fraud as a prophet-is of such magnitude, that it is very difficult for me to waste time and energy listening to all those business entrepreneurs, as every general authority is today. They are enslaving people to a false doctrine, a false church and a false everything. The absence of Christ Gospel is so evident in the chapel that it almost gives me the creep. Active Mormons that feel that progress are doing it in spite of the church, and not thanks to it. But they are deeply deceived into believing that they can only progress inside the church. I will try to see something of the Conference, if my stomach allows it!

If my television turns itself on, ...the remote changes the station to WTF ever carries their crap, and I hear a ghostly "They're here"...well.  I'll know its Conference.     I have the tendency to go take a shower, get constipated, or clip my toenails during the time conference is on.

I say this in the name of angel hair pasta with Alfredo and chicken.  Amen

Watching conference just makes my blood boil, so in general I avoid it.  At Sunday's conference, one of the so-called Apostles told everybody that the way to decide what was doctrinal or not was to listen to the living prophets, i.e., HIM.  Could such advice get any more depressing?

I turned it off after the first five minutes last Oct. I couldn't stand how blatant they were about controlling members by keeping them ignorant. Claiming that because scriptures are pure truth that there is no need to think about what you are reading the holy ghost( heartsell) will never deceive nor lead you astray. It will just manipulate your emotions so you will give us everything that you are, that you have or will ever have.

I didn't want to expose myself to their manipulations and brainwashing. I did that when I was a member.

It's too bad J. Golden Kimball isn't around any more to bring those guys back down to earth a bit.
