Registration and Hotel information
The Embassy Suites has reserved a block of rooms for the conference at a reduced rate. In order to reserve a room, please call the hotel at 801-359-7800 and ask for the Reservation Clerk. When you reach her, ask specifically for a room in the Exmormon Foundation block. Do NOT call the national phone number, because they consistently do not have the information about the block of rooms, and will book you into a more expensive room. If you have any problems at all in booking a room, please write to Sue at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask her for assistance. Last year we had all 80 rooms in our block taken about 3 weeks before the conference, so do book early. If you decide to come close to the conference, and the rooms are gone, Sue may be able to assist getting you a room if there any left in the hotel. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from the airport, and there is free parking at the hotel for those who drive.
The Embassy Suites includes a fully cooked-to-order breakfast each morning in the beautiful hotel atrium, and a manager's hosted bar in the evenings - over all, the hotel is a great value!. Staying at the hotel, and being there for the entire conference really does enhance your experience for the weekend!
Due to the nature of the conference presentations and the serving of alcohol during the evenings, we have established a strict policy that no children are allowed except for nursing infants. In addition, since the presentations are recorded for our website, it's important that we control the ambient noise during the recordings. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact the Conference Chairman.
